On 20 November 2024, an exclusive VIP Networking Event took place at Bombardier’s newly expanded Mega Service Centre in Singapore. Attended by aviation professionals, industry leaders, and enthusiasts, the event offered a rare opportunity to explore the world’s largest OEM-owned business aviation maintenance facility in the Asia-Pacific region.

The event began with a reception where guests were greeted with light refreshments and had the chance to connect with fellow attendees. This was followed by an opening speech that set the tone for the day, providing an overview of the agenda and introducing Bombardier’s impressive facility.

An Unforgettable Tour of the Mega Service Centre


The highlight of the event was an exclusive tour of Bombardier’s state-of-the-art Mega Service Centre, which in 2022 has recently expanded to an incredible 290,000 square feet. The tour showcased the facility’s advanced capabilities, reflecting Bombardier’s dedication to innovation, efficiency, and customer service.

The APAC Customer Service Centre: Attendees were introduced to Bombardier’s operations centre, which handles all APAC service requests. The service centre serves as the first touch point for any issues for the APAC region. This space is central to ensuring seamless and responsive support for customers.

Customisation Workshop: A visit to the customisation area revealed how Bombardier enables customers to personalise their aircraft interiors, selecting from an array of premium fabrics, woods, and finishes.

Carpentry Workshop: The craftsmanship on display in the carpentry workshop impressed attendees, showcasing the attention to detail involved in creating and refurbishing bespoke interiors.

Spray-Painting Facility: The tour included a look at Bombardier’s state-of-the-art spray-painting workshop, which serves not only Bombardier aircraft but also other business jets in the region.

Inventory Space: The on-site inventory hub ensures that essential parts are readily available, significantly reducing downtime during maintenance and repairs.

The Hangar: Guests visited the expansive hangar, capable of accommodating up to 53 Bombardier aircraft. The sheer scale of the facility underscores its pivotal role in supporting business aviation across the Asia-Pacific region.

Visit onboard Bombardier's Private Jet: A highlight of the day was the opportunity to step aboard Bombardier’s Aircraft, a pinnacle of luxury and engineering. Guests were able to experience the aircraft’s innovative features and unmatched comfort firsthand.
